MESOAQUA Workshop II
at MEDIMEER in Montpellier/Sète, France 9-10 November 2010
Within the frame of the European project MESOAQUA the second workshop on mesocosm experiments and implications in aquatic ecology research was held in Montpellier - Sète, France from 9th -10th November 2010. Young researchers, PhD students and early carrier scientists who seek to further develop their knowledge on mesocosm experiments and having a particular interest on mesocosms research in aquatic science have participated in the workshop.
On the first day world-class leading researchers in mesocosms studies gave their presentations, followed by group discussions with scientists and students. On the second day a visit of the Medimeer infrastructure in Sète was performed to see an example of mesocosms facilities available in Europe.
